As for local destinations,  it’s Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Genting Highlands, Kota Kinabalu, George Town, Batu Ferringhi, Johor Baru, Port Dickson, Kuching and Kuantan.  Noting that the site caters to 60 million unique visitors a month and lists over 1.8 million businesses, Tan says the 12-year-old site kicked off a localised site for Malaysians (TripAdvisor.com.my) in 2011. The site recently integrated Friend Of A Friend Facebook feature as well as offer 50 free mobile city guides via its mobile travel app. “We also made the guides available offline so that users can make use of the information even when they are not connected to the Internet,” says Tan.
